Awani Restaurant, Dubai Mall
At Awani in The Dubai Mall, UAE, Redwood Technologies programmed a Control4 lighting system with four preset scenes that follow sunset, with Pandre Special Lighting and Blue Camel.

The work
The Levantine region is a crossroads of people and culture, borrowing from Western Asia, the Eastern Mediterranean, and Northeastern Africa. Awani draws on classic Levantine cuisine, serving flavours from the Arabian plate with traces of modern-day fusion.
Awani’s restaurant in The Dubai Mall uses a Control4 lighting control system by Redwood Technologies. At the client’s request, the dining space changes automatically through four preset light scenes during the day. The system transitions between the scenes and can adjust the timings to the time of sunset each day.
